Regional Information: Orihuela Costa

The Orihuela Costa lies to the south of Torrevieja. From Torrevieja to the Murcian border you will find 15 km of mainly rock coast, surrounded by magnificent beaches like La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Cala Capitan, Cabo Roig, Cala del Cuervo, Dehesa de Campoamor and Torre de la Horadada, The sandy coves backing onto cliffs and are very popular with tourists and residents alike due to the crystal clear waters and the golden sand.

The little beach bars "chiringuitos" serve tapas, snacks and cold drinks and are wonderful places from which to watch the world go by.

Villamartin
This golfing area has developed rapidly into an area that is popular with holiday makers and golfers alike. 10 minutes to the beach and with access roads to the motorway, the emphasis here is on location. Villamartin square has attracted both international cuisine and lively bars.

Campoamor
The Royal Club de Golf is the highlight for any golfer or holiday-maker. The breathtaking views towards the sea and fine cuisine are combined with a close proximity to the busy coastal road. It also boasts a marina and fine beaches.

Cabo Roig
Cabo Roig is famous for its marina and coved beach. With the emergence of many hotels come fine dining and a buzzing nightlife. With access to the south and Torrevieja, it has fast emerged as the "ideal" destination for holiday makers while retaining peace and quiet combined with quality of living.

La Zenia
The La Zenia roundabout and nearby La Zenia hotel has become famous as a link point for the amazing sandy beaches to the south, the golf clubs to the north and as a centre point for restaurants and bars. A walk around the houses of La Zenia makes one stare in amazement. The famous walk from La Zenia to Cabo Roig along the coast cannot be missed.
